Grinding experiments were carried out on a laboratory hammer mill at seven different moisture levels. i.e. 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20% (wet basis) and three screen mesh sizes: 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 mm. The mill was equipped with a computer system to record grinding energy consumption.
